Weber 566002 Q 220 Gas Grill, finds it’s place midway in Weber’s Q-series line-up of compact gas grills. At first glance, a noticeable addition is clearly visible, the handy side trays.  One of the thoughtful accessories, which are added as you move up within this particular line of compact grills.

Having side trays may not seem like a huge advancement for the extra money, but keep in mind in following the idea of compact and each individuals needs, Weber is clearly offering many choices, as not every grill is the right fit, for everyone when it comes to being “compact”.

These side trays of the Weber 566002 Q 220 Gas Grill, which by the way are fold-able with clips for hanging cooking tools may be a great convince for many and ultimately a deciding factor for a purchase.

Grilling is most enjoyable when the space around the grill has a work-flow, and that is exactly what the addition of these trays provide. A handy place for food prep, before and after the food is cooked, keeping grilling tools handy at all times, while providing a place for the “Grill Master” to park, his or her favorite beverage, while masterfully grilling the perfect burger.

The Weber 566002 Q 220 gas grill has electronic ignition for easy, reliable lighting, an infinitely adjustable burner valve with a high-quality regulator, 2 durable Tuck-Away work tables with built-in tool holders (tools sold separately) which conveniently fold and store inside the grill, sturdy glass-reinforced nylon grill frame, cast aluminum lid and body, removable catch pan, a tall lid profile with a built-in thermometer, a large weather-resistant lid handle, a porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grate, and operates on a standard 14.1 or 16.4 ounce propane cylinders (sold separately). Includes Weber Q recipe booklet. Tubular stainless steel burner, 12,000 BTU-per-hour input, 280 sq. in. total cooking area. Limited 5-year warranty.

Like it but,

We returned the first unit we received due to lighting problems. Its not as bad, but it still won’t light consistently on the first try.

Very Fine Grill!

Weber, has come up with a nice solution to this very problem, Adding wheels.

Not just wheels, also height, having the grill, up at a comfortable height is less strenuous on the body, in turn making grilling that much more enjoyable.

The Weber 6507 rolling cart, is a light weight rolling cart, nothing beefy, no bells and whistles, it just an inexpensive solution to a problem.

These grill rolling carts, can be used as a grill stand for cooking or as a caddy, to transport your Weber Baby Q from, here to there.

There are a few different models to chose from,  each up grade in selection, seems a little sturdier then the next.There is really no wrong choice and I’m sure you will be happy with any model.
