Wow! not a whole lot of features going on with this grill, but that is the beauty of it and a great selling point. Think about it, the idea behind the use of a compact grill is in it’s simplicity. Easy to transport, quick set-up, and simple to use, these three point are what grilling on the go should consist of, exactly what this small bayou classic fold and go tailgate grill offers.

Portability is important! This charcoal grill is one of few that actually is deserving of the title “compact” and for good reasons. Folded, it is not much bigger then most size laptops and takes up about as much space, this is wonderful when packing for your next bbq on the go, or when time comes to store away for the season.

At first glance, a noticeable addition is clearly visible, the handy side trays.  One of the thoughtful accessories, which are added as you move up within this particular line of compact grills.

Having side trays may not seem like a huge advancement for the extra money, but keep in mind in following the idea of compact and each individuals needs, Weber is clearly offering many choices, as not every grill is the right fit, for everyone when it comes to being “compact”.

If, total simplicity grilling is your thing, then this compact grill is for you. Plug and play or shall we, say plug and grill, it’s that easy. The hardest part, in using this grill, will be bending over, to plug it’s electric cord into a wall socket.

What really stands out and is a big plus with the George Foreman GGR50B Indoor/Outdoor Grill, is if needed, grilling can be done indoors. How sweet is that? Rainy days, no problem, move the grill indoors and keep on grilling.

This Foreman grill, comes with it’s own pedestal, for a nice comfortable grilling height. You could also place the grill unit on a table top or any other suitable surface if you like. This option, would come in handy to grill in front of family, friends while everyone is seated around a table.

The Coleman 9940-A55 Roadtrip Party Grill, is a wonderful mini compact grill, it should not be purchased, to replace any mid-size grill, or even to be compared to one. Being a mini compact grill, it does have limitations that would naturally go along with it’s size. Perfect for two – three people,  anymore would be pushing beyond it’s capabilities.

Some, Good Points to Owning the Coleman Party Grill:

• Easy to carry, easy to assemble, and most importantly, easy to use
• Reliable, portable grill
• A small section of the grill is solid and flat for use as a griddle
• Cooking speed is greatest in the center, slower toward the edges
• Great for boiling
• Grill can be assembled in less than 10 minutes, no tools are required
• Push  button start
• Uses propane cylinder (not included)
• Total grill is dishwasher-safe except the burner assembly
• Blue plastic lid, which also can be used to steady your grill on soft surfaces, such as sand

A grill this size must have a downfall:

Understandable, with a mini grill, there may be some shortcomings. It’s a trade-off that comes with ultra portability but should not have an impact on the buyer, if keeping in mind this is a mini grill.

• May have a flimsy feel to it
• Too small for more then 3 people
• Single middle burner
• Thick cuts may not cook evenly

Important User Tip:

Once you get the grill in place, leave it there–the removable legs can fall out if you’re moving the grill from place to place.
