W. Barnes says,

Weber® Q-100 is the Best Little Grill on the Market!

If portability is paramount, and you want and need a grill that cooks quickly, evenly and adds great taste, look no further. This Weber grill delivers. However, there are a few things to learn about it that will make you a better Weber grill cook. First you must follow the instructions by preheating the grill for 10 minutes. The cast iron grates will be VERY hot and sear the meat with nice dark lines. Do not leave it on the first side for very long though. After it is seared and browned turn the meat over; this will prevent over cooking. Vegetables can be grilled on the sides, and around the outside, of the grates where the temperature is cooler. …Read complete review here.

I’m not sure what all the fuss is about? This grill is superb

I purchased this grill approximately 6 months ago for balcony cooking at my apartment (yes I have a huge fire extinguisher). I want to start out by saying that this grill is excellent…..Finish reading this review here.

R. Kolin says,

Much better than the gigantic stainless steel gas grill

Weber makes a great grill. I live in a condo community that doesn’t allow large grills because of fire regulations. (Yeah, it was hard giving up my stainless steel super monster grill when I moved here). After searching and comparing portable grills online and with neighbors that own them, I decided on this one and I’m glad I did. In fact, if I had a house, I would still take this portable grill over it’s big stainless steel brother…Read this happy customer’s complete review here.

4.0 out of 5 stars All the Good Things Said about this Grill is True…,
    March 13, 2010

I have had a larger model of this before and, it was a good performer. But even in balmy Southern California chilly Spring nights effect its little sisters performance: so you must adjust for the conditions outside. Since the cast dome is made out of Aluminum, it acts as a heat sink and rapidly loses heat. But with my most recent purchase I found something unacceptable. The tray where the aluminum foil grease-catcher fits shipped as it came from the press (it’s been drawn and trimmed) without any deburring at all. So the edges of the pan are extremely sharp. An inexperienced person trying to pull it from the groove in the bottom could slash a few fingers at a time. I am sure Weber will correct this when they realize quality assurance is off.

Other than that it’s as it has been touted to be.

    4.0 out of 5 stars Great BBQ…however!,
    April 19, 2010

Great BBQ for such a compact size. Weber really has it dialed in. However, and please note, ONLY the 14 oz propane bottles should be used. Technically the larger 16 oz size can be used, but I had nothing but problems trying to get the bottle connected…its dia. is too large and should not be recommended. I would have given this product 5 stars but the frustration Weber put me through deserved a penalty.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Grill,

This is our second Weber Q grill. The first I connected to the propane system in our RV. This one we will use on a remote cylinder. The Q grill is small, but it cooks as well as a large grill. Very resistant to flare ups and things cook evenly. The grilling surface is small, but I can cook enough steak or burgers for 4 people. Heavy duty construction with cast iron grilling surfaces. Looks like it would last forever.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for 2-3 people, enough for 5-6,
    May 27, 2010

Just received on of these this week and I’ve only used it once. I chose this one because I live with just one roommate and we felt it would be big enough for us, and we also wanted a portable one for camping. The first use was to grill pork and chicken wings for 5 people. There wasn’t enough space to fit all our food on at once, so we split it into to batches, and slowly ate the first batch as more or less an appetizer. The grill worked great, got hot right away, didn’t use much fuel, and was easy to move around and set up. Something that would make it better for larger groups would be if there was a second rack to hold food away from the heat, or if there was a way to adjust the heat for different sections of the grill.

Ultimately, a great, easy grill to use!
