Mr. Deaton says,
Great small grill!,
I am a traditionalist and normally only cook on a charcoal grill. However sometimes the weather doesn’t corporate (it rains or is too cool) or I just don’t have enough time for grilling on coals. So I figured a small grill that I could keep on my deck would be a nice complement to my charcoal grill. Fortunately I choose well as this is an excellent small grill!. Continue on to read more.
Chris B. says,
ten years and counting
I have had this model grill for (sitting outside) ten years and it is still in good condition. It cooks great. Highly recommend!
Mr. Harry M. says,
Second One..Still Great
I’ve had one of these for about 10 years – one of the old black ones. It is really great for my wife and I (and the occasional small party) and we use it every week all year long. The bottom finally fell out and the heat distribution plate was so warped and corroded, it was unrecognizable. Plus, since the bottom was falling out, there were no “risers” to hold it up above the burner. Finish reading here.
Stephen L. says,
Patio size BBQ pretty much what I wanted for my apt balcony
Size is great for small space, usually need to push ignitor button several times to light, somewhat annoying. But otherwise works well. Read the rest here.

Small and compact gas grill. Ideal for people who live in apartments and have limited space. Single burner does reasonably well in the cooking process. It is fairly easy to move. The handle used to move the grill is secured to one of the legs and is not very strong.

I replaced a conventional Char Broil grill that held up great for ten years. But I wanted to replace it with a smaller grill for my townhouse deck. The assembly went without a problem, everything was organized and the manual was easy to follow. I’ve been using the grill weekly throughout the summer. I first discovered the need for a table to place things. After just a month the igniter failed and the slots between in the grate are too narrow to use a butane long nose lighter. It doesn’t sear meat very well but it cooks just fine.

This is the second one I’ve purchased. The first one lasted 14 years. It is great for grilling for one or two people. Assembly is a breeze! The most appreciated feature is the domed lid which circulates the smoke and gives the food a very nice flavor. The least favorite feature is the flimsy ignitor wire which was broken when I received mine. I don’t use it anyway. One day the manufactureer will make one that lasts.

Very nice grill, My inlaws have the same one so we bought one as well. Very satisfied. Meat is good. Very efficient with the propane.

The grill does a fine job of cooking. Design leaves a lot to be desired. The top of the grill is not hinged and designed to fit on the side of the bottom section, putting a 500 degree top next to your cooking movements – really bad idea!!! Where do I place this hot top, out of the way, when turning meat so not to get dirt or other stuff on it? Also with the wheels located, NOT opposite the handle, it is difficult to move with a tank attached (which will be most of the time). Definitely would not purchase again. Ignitor failed after the first use.

I did not do any background prior to buying it from Amazon. However, I tried to buy it used. For about a year, I saw it advertised used just a few times. Of course every time I tried to buy one, someone else had beaten me to it. I figured this was and indication that this grill was popular and well worth its value. Needless to say, as always, Amazon had the best price for it.
Putting it together was a breeze. The single stack burner really gets the grill hot in no time at all.
The best part is that is that if the hot plate is removed, leaving the burner exposed, you can rest a pot, a griddle or whatever else on the three sturdy bolts, that hold the plate in place, and use it safely as a burner. I have even easily managed to cook with a cast iron wok.

Great little grill for the money. It takes up the minimum space on my patio and cooks very well. Love it!

This is a great little grill. It is a replacement for an identical grill that I have on my houseboat. The old grill was eight years old. It served me so well and fit my application so well that I bought an identical replacement.
I found your blog on google and read a few of your other posts. I just added you to my Google News Reader. Keep up the fantastic work Look forward to reading more from you in the future.
It’s posts like this that keep me coming back and checking this site regularly, thanks for the info!
Took a little while to receive the grill cover but we’re pleased with what we see. Have had it for about two months.
It fits as snug as a grill cover can fit. You can’t walk out with a plate of hamburgers in one hand and expect to whip it off with the other. It takes two hands. In fact I can’t see how it would ever blow off. The three covers for the stacks are a pretty good fit and I would think that alone would keep it snug during a wind. The quality of
the fabric is heavy and durable… as if it will last quite a while. So far so good. I’d recommend it to others.
