this grill is great heats up fast and isnt hard to clean at all,grill surface wipes clean, i do it while its still hot with paper towels then rince when cool.i’ve grilled ribs,steaks,hamburgers,bakin,hotdogs,and toast the buns while grilling.the water tray is shallow but i put just nuff water to cover the surface this is enough to stop the smoking and theres none to very little.it clean very easy also.$[...] no tax free shipping and bonus i got 5 dollar rebate.this grill is top notch would have bin great if it had a glass lid that covered the grill area,i use two foil pans to,cover food exspidites cooking.if you like to cook buy it you wont be disapointed.ps.Sanyo put out a after market glass lid please thx.

I love the large size. I took advice of other reviewers
and covered tray with foil great advice.
Very easy to use, very easy to clean.
Cooked steaks one night and chicken.
Never got smokey. My only suggestion,
turn on to heat up, it takes a little time to
heat up.

After reading all these wonderful reviews i have decided to buy this product. I have wanted/needed a grill for about a year now and this type seems to fit all my needs. I like the fact that i can grill indoors or outdoors, the price is in my budget, it is dishwasher safe and i can grill whether it is raining or not. I really like the concept of this product and cant wait to buy one!! Wonder what i will grill first…hmmmm…

bought this as a gift for my husband used it about 10 times or less but then it just quit heating in mid use the light was on but no heat so if you want a disposable grill i guess this one is for you!

We returned it the next day. We tried to make chicken skewers and the meat never got cooked well. I must confess that my wife and I are novices at grilling and may have made the skewers badly, but my wife was just not satisfied with the time it took, and with the fact that our chicken never cooked thoroughly. Our problem with the grill may have been more from our own inexperience with grilling, but nonetheless, we ended up returning it, unsatisfied. We may just make the jump to a real outdoor grill at some point.

Thats what this grill should be called.Works great,cleans very easy.Its just to big for me.I wish I had one half its size just like it.Seers well,nice grill marks.This company should make a smaller one,I would buy it.

This is one of the best items I’ve purchased for my kitchen. The only drawback I could see for most households is the size, making storage an issue for a lot of kitchens. I actually had to add another shelf to the top of my pantry to store this baby…but the ease of grilling indoors is fabulous. Everything I have cooked on it has come out perfectly, no regrets for this purchase at all.
