I decided on this waffle maker after reading all of the reviews, and I’m glad that I did. I like the fact that it can be stored upright and will not take up a lot of space compared to some of the other waffle makers. I bought one on Amazon for my son-in-laws birthday and they LOVED it so much so I purchased one for myself. My husband,son and I really like it.
It is so easy to use and the batter doesn’t stick to the grids. I purchased a waffle mix on Amazon also. It makes my whole house smell great but better than that, they taste so great!! They are uniform and crisp on both sides. The timer is handy also.
You can’t go wrong with this waffle maker.

As I’ve never had a waffle maker I wasn’t sure what I wanted. However, this one does the trick without a mess…quickly…and only takes a paper towel to wipe out! It’s fast and easy on busy hectic school mornings. There may be fancier ones out there…but for our first experience, it was worth the money.

I couldn’t wait to try it out. Was able to purchase the Classique Fare Belgian waffle mix at our local Publix store. Discovered it’s better to mix the batter up about 15 or 20 minutes prior to baking – makes a less dense waffle. So far we’re pleased with this appliance and can’t wait to make my own yeast batter and try it out on the grandkids. There’s nothing like a true Belgian waffle with Straberries and whipped cream.

I have been wanting a Belgian Waffle Maker for a while and my wish FINALLY came true this past Mother’s Day! The Presto FlipSide is extremely easy to use straight out of the box. You simply plug it in and it starts heating. It came with a AAA battery to operate the timer (which never shuts off, so it will need to be replaced fairly often) and the instruction booklet even has a few starter recipes. I was amazed at how easy it was to make perfect, beautifully browned & crisped waffles. This is a great little machine that would be easy for your kids and husband to master too! It’s a great low-cost addition to our kitchen!
I ordered some Stonewall Kitchen Farmhouse Pancake and Waffle Mix at the same time and was delighted by how good they taste. They aren’t too sweet and don’t have that Bisquick aftertaste. With this waffle maker it only takes 4 minutes to perfectly convert this batter into perfectly golden brown waffles. Yum!

My initial impression when I unboxed this waffle maker was “wow, this thing is lighter than I expected and that’s a lot of plastic.” The design is good and the idea is sound. However, I’m a bit dubious of the materials and build quality. What metal there is (and there isn’t much) is thin and flimsy. The rest (and most) of it is plastic.
That said, I followed the 2.5 minute cook time that many people here had mentioned and the waffles came out great. Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The timer is a nice feature as well.
As with so many things these days I’m just not convinced that this waffle maker is built to last. I expect that one of the many poorly made plastic parts on it is going to break within a year or two and I’ll be back shopping and hoping that the next one I purchase isn’t built so cheaply.

We love this waffle maker, I set the timer at 3 1/2 minutes, pour the mix into one side, close the lid and flip it over. It will come out perfect. If you really want a treat, use the “Golden Malted Waffle Mix”

Easy to use, easy to clean, and quick. I had to learn to only cook the waffles for 3 minutes and then they are perfect doneness for my family. More time and they get a little too brown. I like the timer on the waffle iron. Each time I brush a little cooking oil on the grates before the first waffle cooked and I have had no problem with batter sticking. LOVE this product.

Takes up little space, heats up fast, the little battery powered digital timer is nice (use it for other things as well), and it quite simply makes great little waffles with no fuss and the non-stick finish is working great.
