5.0 out of 5 stars AWESOME PRODUCT - WE USE IT ATLEAST WEEKLY!!

I love this product! Benefits: Removable grills that go right into the dishwasher!! Multiple grills for a variety of food. I have six kids and we use this atleast weekly. I had to find room on my countertop so I wouldn't have to keep getting it out. I can throw on a frozen chicken breast or hamburger and have a meal in less than 10 minutes. My kids love it! Don't get one WITHOUT the removable grills or cleaning would be a nightmare. But with the removable grills - cleaning is a breeze and I am a neat freak!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love This Grill,

We purchased the original Forman Grill, forever ago and decided it was time to upgrade. I purchased this one & just love it ... Even more than I loved the first one. I usually only made grilled cheese or warmed up leftover hamburgers on it for my little ones. With this one, among other things, I am able to make waffles, cook bacon & eggs for a great Suday breakfast for a family of 6. The only drawback for me is the fact that I've got to store all those different plates and try not to scratch them up too badly. Overall this is a worthwhile purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great replacement for my old grill

I love this new George Forman grill. I had one of the big old round ones with no bells or whistles and while it worked great it was not a lot of fun to clean so I used it less that I would have liked.
Clean up on this grill is a real pleasure, the plates easily snap out and clean easily in the sink or in the dishwasher if I'm feeling really lazy.
The food cooks just as quickly as on my old grill. The grill lines aren't as pronounced, but that is probably because I've been using the unit on medium heat unlike my old grill which was alway on full blast (no other choice). I'm not sure that I can fit quite as much food on this rectangular one as my old round one, but it's not bad.
I haven't tried out the waffle or baking sheet yet, but I don't see why they wouldn't work as advertised.
Just to help clarify, you get 5 plates, but really only 3 different setups. The regular grill plate goes on the bottom and the "steak plate" goes on top for most applications. For waffles there are 2 waffle plates, top and bottom, for this setup. Then the flat baking or cooking surface with a top plate.

5.0 out of 5 stars BACON!!!,

After enduring several years of cleaning my old, original Foreman, I believe the very first model they made, I just couldn't take it any more. So I wanted one with removable plates, and this seemed to be the top of the line. I actually thought I probably wouldn't use anything but the grill plates, since we've used the old one for burgers, steaks, chicken, etc. But when I opened the box, I saw a picture of bacon cooking on the baking/griddle plate, so I figured I'd give it a shot. The BEST bacon I've ever had, and it cooked with no spatter, since you just plop in on the plate, close the lid, and set a timer. Wow. SO much better than microwaved bacon. Burger/chicken/pork chop grilling is great, as to be expected, and the larger cooking area is nice. But now I'm hooked on trying the other things that I can cook on this! Awesome grilled cheese sammies, and I can't wait to try the Tiramisu recipe in the book. All in all, I'm very pleased with this grill and will probably use it almost daily, which I really didn't expect. I haven't tried the waffle iron, so I can't speak on that. My only minor complaints are (1)It's a great red, but I would have preferred color choices, (2) some other models have a digital thermostat, and since this is the "top of the line," I kind of expected that. Other than that, it's an excellent product that I will likely use way more than I thought I would.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best George Foreman Yet,

I had the family size George Foreman grill for almost ten years when the non-stick coating finally wore off. I finally decided to replace it. I originally was planning to purchase the Cuisinart Griddler afer reading all the fine reviews, but while I was shopping I saw this Grilleration. It looks so much like the Griddler that I thought it was the same thing. It is almost identical in appearance to the Griddler, except in red. Some people have said the design is outdated, I think it's very retro looking - which is of course very "in" now. I chose it over the Griddler because it slopes, allowing fat to drain, like the other Foreman grills. I really like this feature. In addition, the grooves are deeper than the Griddler. It comes with an additional flat baking dish, and the two waffle plates and a steak plate. It also comes with a very nice cookbook, better than anything I've received in a kitchen appliance. We followed the directions exactly and had great waffles in 4 minutes. I'm not sure why other people had problems with it. I've never had a waffle iron, but this was no problem to do. I will keep this on my counter full-time, as I mostly like to grill meats and vegetables for meals. It's pricey - which is unfortunate, but it has already got much use in my kitchen, and if it lasts as long as my previous Foreman grill then I should get my money's worth.

4.0 out of 5 stars A great indoor grill and then some.

I will state up front my one displeasure with this item. The corners of the baking pan will take off the non-stick coating of the upper plate where they rub together. Please don't take that as an absolute reason not to purchase. Since I've had this grill, I've barely used the stove top (or the oven for that matter). It is just great for quickly cooking meats, waffles, pancakes, even veggies. Since it cooks from both the top and the bottom it cooks super fast. You can have a fish fillet in less than five minutes, unless it's super thick. I don't think anyone would be greatly dissatisfied with this grill. If you've been looking at buying a George Foreman Lean Mean Grill, I think the investment in this one is wise.
