5.0 out of 5 stars Griddler review,
June 1, 2010

We love kitchen gadgets and this one is more useful than most. Does a great job when you are in a hurry and/or can't cook outdoors. Does a great job on hamburgers, pork chops, grilled cheese, etc. Easy to clean and cooks very fast. Compact and easy to store

I am really surprised by some of the negative comments. I love this thing. Everything about it says quality.Period. Buy this before they stop making it.

5.0 out of 5 stars My new favorite kitchen item,
May 27, 2010

I carefully read all the reviews and choose this model and I am so happy I did. I use it for paninis, quesadillas, and pancakes. It works really well for all three. I am glad the griddle surfaces can be removed, and the flexibility in being able to flip them over for flat or ridged effect is really more useful than I thought. The drip pan collects extra oil well (as when experimenting with an oily olive tapenade on a sandwich that was too greasy). It heats up quickly and gives a nice crunchy exterior to everything I have tried, regardless of type of bread. It makes ten pancakes at a time, and for my family this has been great-I get to enjoy them instead of sitting at the stove the whole time to make small batches. The sandwiches cook quickly enough and making two large ones at a time makes it easy enough for everyone to have a hot sandwich. It automatically adjust for flat tortilla sandwiches and quesadillas to really over stuffed sandwiches. I highly recommend this panini maker and can't imagine anything in its design that could be better. Its price is totally reasonable for this quality.

4.0 out of 5 stars Another tough Cuisinart product,
May 3, 2010

We use this little performer to cooking eggs, grilled cheeses, sausage & onions at a farmers market using market products. Compact, tough and we particularly love the high capacity drip tray and ease of cleanup. I'll edit this later with a longer-term report.
